Work station for welding stainless steel and aluminum
On request of ALVO GRUPA GASTROMETAL we have constructed work station for welding stainless steel and aluminum. The work station is made of Fanuc S-420i robot with R-J2 controller and Kemppi ProEvolution welder. For monitoring indispensable signals we have used GE VersaMax Micro. Positioning devices were designed and made by the order. The reason for using robots in welding was the long welds used in welded elements. The work station can also be used for aluminum components and black steel. Thanks to robotization we have:
• increased the number of welded elements
• welders can do more specialized tasks
• Operator does not work in a polluted area
